DP149 Ultra Jazz

The DP149 ULTRA JAZZ™ is a pickup that reproduces the traditional Fender jazz bass sound while also providing hum cancellation. It is characterized by a deep bass range, a percussive high range, and a mellow but clear midrange tone, and the three-dimensional sound image containing many overtones is also attractive. It has an outstanding picking response that is compatible with both 2-finger and pick playing. For example, like master Billy Sheehan, by combining this DP149 with a Split P in the center, you can get even more tonal variations.

Features:

Recommended For: Neck and bridge positions. The Ultra Jazz™ Pair was designed to fit the neck and bridge position of the original Fender Jazz Bass, which has neck and bridge pickup cavities of two different sizes. Some current basses use the same length pickup in both positions. Please refer to the dimensions link for the correct choice for your bass.
